Jessica Alba: karma’s a bitch
June 15th, 2007 by MJ

“I always felt like I was born into the wrong family. I didn’t feel I belonged and I felt that I should have been royal, and nobody knew that except me” says Jessica. Jessica’s father is Mexican and her mother is Danish/French. Jessica says her parents were poor and life was tough. “I knew I would have to get out of that environment and make a lot of money, so I created that for myself at a young age as an actress.” You have to admire her for working hard to achieve her goals. Nothing was handed to her. Although her mixed heritage was a problem in school “I was shunned by the Latin community for not being Latin enough” as an actress it makes her more interesting. She was very determined and at age 11 she started taking acting classes. She is most definitely disciplined and believes in going after what she wants.
When asked who her role models are she answers Tom Cruise and Will Smith. Those are not the answers one expects. And why are they her role models. ”Because they really understand a brand and go for it.”
She’s beautiful but also very “driven”. ”Sometimes you have to learn lessons over and over again; karma’s a bitch. You’re meant to go through hard things in life to evolve.” What a wonderful country we live in. It is a country where a poor girl (like Jessica) can become a movie star. She had no connections but was determined. She has already achieved many of her goals. She is famous and has financial security. She will never have to worry about being poor again.
