Harrison & Calista: wedding questions

Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart have announced that they would like Jamie Oliver, aka the Naked Chef, to cook at their wedding. This story brings up a couple questions. First: Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart are getting married? They’ve been going out six years, which is epic by Hollywood standards. Normally celebrities only get married A) after a two-week courtship or B) after a baby is born. Why would they rock the boat by getting married? First of all, this is Hollywood, where if someone tells the press how solid their marriage is, it means they’ll be announcing their divorce the following week. So paranoiacs agree there’s only one reason they’d be getting married – so they can get a divorce, which will be good publicity for an upcoming movie. Second question: if you’re a chef, do you really want Calista Flockhart – to whom an oyster fork full of food would qualify as pigging out — as living testament to your skill? Getting her endorsement is like having Robin Williams testify on behalf of your body hair removal system.
