George Clooney’s stomach: a scar or just fat?

Is it a scar or has George Clooney had plastic surgery? He was photographed on his yacht in Italy in a pair of shorts which hung off his hips revealing what looks like a strange scar across his stomach. His publicist denies any surgery and says it is just weight. What do you think?
