Filthy Scissor Sisters mock Barbra Streisand

At the first of three shows following Streisand at the 20,000 capacity venue, frontman Jake Shears said he’d been to see Streisand the night before. “She came on 10 minutes late, then she sang for 10 minutes in a three-hour show” He mocked Streisand ”for hiring “gay friends from New York” to sing her songs when she wasn’t on stage. Streisand fans disapproved of these digs.
