The investment firm Colony Capital is discussing various repayment options for Michael Jackson’s $23 million debt, including a possible long-term engagement as the resident performer of a Vegas casino or nightclub, a source familiar with the talks said on Friday. According to sources close to Jackson, his ideal scenario would be 200 shows a year at a Chuck E. Cheese casino or a Cub Scout-themed casino. However, according to sources close to the entertainer, Jackson told Colony Capital that if a casino was unavailable he’d be happy to work off his debt working as a doctor who does the annual physicals for the boys sports teams at a middle or elementary school.

According to British tabloid, Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch is in ruins. “It was designed to be a children’s paradise,” said an article in yesterday’s The Sun, but now “the mansion looks more like a haunted castle.” After seeing photos of the damage, a tearful Michael Jackson expressed regret, saying, “damn I should have thought of that. Forget Ferris wheels and a damn zoo — a haunted house is a much easier way to scare the pants off kids and get them to snuggle in bed.”

Eccentric pop star Michael Jackson received word Monday from Financial Title Company that unless he pays off over $24 million by March 19, the Neverland Ranch will be auctioned off. The auction will include the personal property inside, including all fixtures, appliances, and furniture. According to a source close to Jackson, even the contents of The Gloved One’s private study will be sold, including an entire troop of Boy Scouts preserved in amber, a wax museum containing figures of the Williamsport, Pennsylvania Little League team, a life-size butter toffee sculpture of Jonathan Lipnicki, a “bait box” of fun-size Snickers and Milky Way bars, and a tile-for-tile likeness of the boy’s bathroom at the Hollywood Performing Arts High School.
