Sex Lies and Hollywood

Fans of Daniel Radcliffe hoping to sneak cellphone snaps of the Harry Potter star fully naked in Equus on Broadway this fall are out of luck. Sources say extraordinary security measures will be in place at the Broadhurst Theater to prevent any photos from being snapped.   You know what?  That’s okay.   When I use my cell to make a call, I won’t want to press that phone against my ear if know Harry Potter’s penis in there.    Nothing against his thespian skills, but having Harry’s hogwarts pressed against the side of my face is just a little too intimate.

Actor Daniel Radcliffe will make his Broadway debut in September in a reprise of his London role in “Equus,” a performance in which he appeared nude.  The Harry Potter star won rave reviews for his performance in the psychological thriller last year and will perform a 22 week run in New York City.  Oh, come on — don’t you have enough money that you can stop wagging your junk around in public?   Lindsay Lohan did those nude photos and now she can’t get arrested – shouldn’t you withhold the weiner until your star is in decline?  If you’re a child star and you’re flashing the haggis at 18, sorry but there’s nowhere to go but rehab.

Daniel Radcliffe’s friends are pleading with him to quit smoking cigarettes on the set of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.”  A source said: “Daniel has been smoking up to 20 cigarettes a day. Every time they call ‘cut’, he lights up. It’s disgusting.”   Radcliffe’s publicist dismisses the complaints, saying Daniel is preparing for his next movie, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of the Iron Lung.”

The star of Harry Potter is sure looking different these days.  And talking different.  Daniel says in Details Magazine that “Some actresses are just insane. I’ve never worked with a nasty actress - they’re all absolutely delightful. But completely barking.” Is this a surprise to anyone. 

Daniel also says he does not go to nightclubs because of concern about how it would look in the tabloids.  “All it takes is for me to be seen chatting up a girl for [newspapers] to, you know, make up some crappy headline about me being a sex rat or whatever they call it,” he says.   Hey, don’t complain Daniel.  This is the price of fame.

Obviously, they realize they cannot make the last two Harry Potter films without Daniel Radcliffe.  After all, he plays Harry Potter.   He is essential.  And they are paying him accordingly.  He has signed to get $25 million per picture to star in the final two Harry Potter films.  Good agent.  Good deal.  Its an outrageous sum, but hey, its show biz.
